A garden House Bed & Breakfast is a charming 2 story redwood home nestled in the center of 1.5 acres of spruce and birch trees. A beautiful garden, abundant flowers and perhaps a visiting moose (they love the garden) combine to make this a peaceful rural setting even though only 7.5 miles from the airport and just minutes from Alaska's largest shopping mall, restaurants, zoo, 2 golf courses and hiking / biking trails. The home is decorated with Alaskana gathered during the hosts' 26 years residency. A floor to ceiling Alaska stone fireplace creates a warm welcome on cool evenings.

The Garden Room with king bed, vanity area, private bath and sauna, color TV, and phone overlooks the lawn and garden. The rose and Forget-Me-Not rooms have comfortable queen size beds, color TV's and share a full bath. Cable TV and BBQ pit are available as well.

Fresh produce and berries from the garden (in season), home baked breads, smoked salmon caught and smoked by the host (in season), reindeer sausage and even ages old glacier ice for your drinks are all served to make your visit one you will long remember.
