Bayshore Cottage is

a romantic, cozy cottage in a quiet secluded garden setting, looking toward Tomales Bay, located about 3/4 of a mile south of the villageof Inverness and 1 hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Attention Bird Watchers


If you have clicked on the picture at the right to enlarge it, you will be looking at a gazebo that is in regular use by the local birdwatchers as a viewing location for their bird counts. It is an excellent place to see the various migratory shore birds on their way up and down the California coast. If you are a bird watcher, you will love this location.

Accomodations include

a queen size Eurobed with down quilts and lots of pillows, an intimate love seat, radio/tape deck, cable TV and VCR, full kitchen with generous provisions for breakfast and snacks, full bath, adjacent library with many; books, audio and video tapes for guests' use, a private deck with hot tub and gas BBQ just out the cottage door, and beyond the gardens, a boule court and a private pier and gazebo on Tomales Bay.

The Point Reyes Peninsula offers

ocean beaches with pounding surf, secluded quiet coves and tide pools along Tomales Bay, meadows of spectacular wild flowers, hiking trails and bike paths. The villages have restaurants, bakeries, cafés and galleries as diversified and exemplary as the topography of the area.

Location
South of Inverness .75 mile, directly on Tomales Bay. It is 3.1 miles west and north from the intersection of Sir Frances Drake Boulevard and Highway 1 at Point Reyes Station. On Sir Frances Drake Boulevard at Willow Point.

Rates
The year round rate for the cottage is $150 per night plus 10% county tax. Two night minimum stay on weekends, 3 on holiday weekends, deposit in full is required, ten day cancellation notice required with $15 cancellation fee. 2 pm check-in, 12 noon check-out, please make arrangements for late arrival

Cottage kitchen is provisioned with full breakfast options including a variety of juices, fresh fruit basket, hot and cold cereal, pancake mix, yogurts, eggs, bagels, English muffins and beverages.
